Dear Friends & Church Family,
It has been 16 years this month since Jennifer and I made the journey from south Texas to Oklahoma City. There were very few miles from Texas to Oklahoma that I didn’t ask the question, “God, what are we doing?” We only knew a few people in the city and we weren’t that sure that we would even have what it took to build a church that would glorify God.
As we embark on our 17th year, I now realize that God’s plan wasn’t for us to build a church, but to build people. As a result, we have seen the lost saved, the addict freed, and marriages restored at multiple locations, AND all over the world through our television audience. Often, in the midst of my own spiritual fatigue, it has been these results from Heaven that have brought great strength and joy to my soul. Jesus died for us to live abundantly. Our message has been one of hope so that His death would not be in vain and our lives would not be lived ineffectively.
I just want each of you to know how honored Jennifer and I are to be able to serve you. Thank you for praying for us, for believing in us, and for serving God’s vision in us to “reach a city, change a nation, and touch the world”. Your confidence in us has been a real source of power. We are so extremely grateful that God has entrusted us to be leaders in His church. As I look around and see all of our locations fighting the good fight, I am honestly humbled by God’s faith in us, and your willingness to serve with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I believe that God is going to reveal Himself in undeniable ways in the days and years to come. Let’s keep our eyes and hearts fixed on Him. Let’s make every day count as we press toward eternity.
We love you so much,
Mark and Jennifer
